Township 5 is more than just Costco.
It’s easy to forget, given the warehouse club’s popularity and Township 5′s status as the chain’s first location in Upstate New York. But the development has lots more coming and some of its other tenants are starting to open their doors.
The project’s Metro Mattress is now open and Buffalo Wild Wings is set to open Dec. 15. GNC and Sally Beauty are getting close to opening as well.
LongHorn Steakhouse opened last month. Costco arrived in October.
The $58 million project will have 500,000 square feet of space when finished, including retail, offices and a 96-unit apartment complex.
The rest of the tenant lineup includes Mesa Grande Taqueria, Hoopla! Frozen Yogurt, Papaya Asian Kitchen & Bar, Red Robin, Subway, Mystique Nail Spa, Chat Wireless, Gertrude Hawk Chocolates and Hair Studio One.
One other big tenant, Frank Theatres’ CineBowl & Grille, is set to open next summer.
CineBowl is a combination bowling alley, movie theater and restaurant. It’s owned by the same parent company as Revolutions at Destiny USA.
A few thousand square feet of space remain available at the development, so some additional new tenants will be joining the roster, according to the Cameron Group, Township 5′s developer.
Township 5 is located just off the Hinsdale Road exit of Route 5.
